The Demon Hand begins to break free from its seal on Nube's Day of Annihilation, the one day when his psychic powers are at their weakest. Without the seal, Nube's body and soul will fall completely under the demon's control. When Tamamo realizes the danger, he dives into Nube's memories to find a way to reseal the demon. However, nothing can prepare him for the shock he is about to face.

Despite melting in the scorching heat, Yukime takes every chance she gets to declare her burning love for Nube. However, Kyoko, still suspicious of Yukime, continually pours cold water on her attempts to get close to Nube. As sparks fly between the girls, a dark and sinister shadow appears in the sea.
